Heyya! My name is Kat, I am the owner of Gully’s Tattoo & Goods.
Gully’s is a little dream I’ve had for a long time: a place where you can get a killer tattoo, pick up something beautiful for your home, and even reconnect with yourself a little in the process.
I opened Gully’s because the south shore deserves a space that is trauma-informed, queer-welcoming, artsy, and grounded. Somewhere that feels both cool and kind. With a master’s in mental health counseling and years of work in body reclamation, I’ve seen how powerful tattooing can be for folks healing from trauma, who are in recovery, or just feeling a little lost.
Alongside tattoos, you’ll find a mix of handpicked goods, retro beach town energy, and workshops that support healing and connection.
Gully’s is for the ones who want something a little different. A little deeper. A little weirder, in the best way. We’re here, we’re queer, and we’ve got really good taste.

It means we understand that everyone carries something—and we treat people with care, patience, and respect because of that. We’re not here to rush you, judge you, or make assumptions. Whether you’ve been through something big or just want to feel more comfortable in your own skin, this space is built to be safe, supportive, and empowering. Tattooing is a painful experience that can involve awkward positions and exposing more of your body you may be comfortable with regularly. This is taken deeply into consideration when you trust us to do your tattoo.
That can look like full privacy for your piece, offering you a heated or cool compress, taking breaks, stuff like that!

We want to host workshops and events with the community! Reach out if you are interested in working together.
We love locals! Show us a Hull Id and get a 10% discount on your tattoo appointment.

In the state of Massachusetts you have to be 18 years or older with a valid ID.

Fantastic question! Once we finish you’ll get a print out to my aftercare instructions, but overall KEEP IT CLEAN, light unscented soap 2x a day for 2 weeks, light unscented lotion as needed for itchiness. It is going to feel like a sunburn… DO NOT PICK AT IT! This can cause complications with your healing and increase “fall out” of ink.
Keep it out of the sun for a few weeks, do not rub sunscreen into it while it is still healing.
Exercise: use your discretion, I wouldn’t recommend rubbing your brand new tattoo into a yoga mat or wearing tight clothes that rub against it as it is healing. Treat it like a cut

Of course! They can shop at the retail store, hang out in the waiting area or head to the beach. I don’t recommend bringing more than 1-2 people because it can get overwhelming for all of us

Most important thing is that you are comfortable! Back tattoos are great for a backwards hoody or a loose T-shirt. For arm and leg tattoos feel free to wear what makes you most comfortable, we can roll up sleeves or pant legs. Shorts with sweatpants is always a hit so you can have one leg in one leg out if you get cold.
Sternum pieces are tricker, bathing suit tops, loose tanks, button down or zip up hoodies can be great options. I also have pasties for you if you’d prefer!
