Gully’s is a body-inclusive, trauma-informed tattoo studio and retail space in the heart of Hull. Our name comes from the seagulls who gather along the shore—yapping, sharing bread, and enjoying each other’s company. We’re here to create a space that feels just as warm and welcoming, where everyone belongs.
We specialize in trauma-informed fine line tattooing, offering a safe, inclusive environment for people looking to celebrate their stories and reclaim their bodies through art.

The Owner
Kat is a beach-loving therapist who specializes in trauma work, PTSD, and substance use recovery. During COVID, she began exploring more tangible ways to support healing and discovered tattooing as a powerful therapeutic practice.
Kat combines blackwork and fine line styles to help clients reclaim their bodies and beautifully decorate their vessels.

It means we understand that everyone carries something—and we treat people with care, patience, and respect because of that. We’re not here to rush you, judge you, or make assumptions. Whether you’ve been through something big or just want to feel more comfortable in your own skin, this space is built to be safe, supportive, and empowering. Tattooing is a painful experience that can involve awkward positions and exposing more of your body you may be comfortable with regularly. This is taken deeply into consideration when you trust us to do your tattoo.
That can look like full privacy for your piece, offering you a heated or cool compress, taking breaks, stuff like that!
